CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
The School of Information Sciences (ESI) and the Research Center on Information and Data Sciences (RCIDS) organize the second edition of the International Conference on Smart Systems and Data ICSSD’21 on October 28 29 and 30 at ESI in Rabat, Morocco.
ICSSD’21 is pleased to invite proposals for workshops to be held within the main conference. The aim of the conference workshops is to provide a more interactive and focused platform for presenting and discussing new and emerging ideas in any area related to the field of data science and smart systems. Workshops should highlight current topics related to practical applications data science techniques applied to real-world problems.
The format of paper presentations may include oral presentations, poster presentations, keynote lectures and panels. All accepted papers will be published in ICSSD’21 procedings.
WORKSHOP PROPOSAL FORMAT AND SUBMISSION
A workshop proposal should be a PDF document no more than 5 pages long, submitted by e-mail to ICSSDemail@example.com and organized as follows :
- Title of the workshop
- Workshop Organizers (names, affiliation and contact information)
- Scope and topics of the workshop
- A short biography of the organizers (up to 200 words per organizer)
- Previous experience of the organizer(s) in organizing Workshops (if any)
- Requested duration (half day or full day), and the expected number of participants
- Description of workshop activities

The workshops will take place in physical and/or virtual form, depending on the situation with COVID-19. The workshop Organizers are responsible for all the organizationnal aspects including soliciting submissions and providing the details of an adequate number of reviewers for the workshop papers. Workshop Organizers are also fully responsible for ensuring that only high quality papers are accepted for publication in the Proceedings and for verifying the correctness of the layout adopted by the authors (which depends from the editor selected for the Workshop). They are also responsible for monitoring the reviewing process on the reviewing system, in collaboration with the Conference Program Chairs.
Workshops are special invited sessions to be held in conjunction with the ICSSD’21 conference, focusing on topics that are of special interest but not necessarily related to the main conference theme. The purpose is to complement the conference main program with emerging and innovative topics and to present the latest advances, open issues and challenges on research areas of interest The call for papers for the following accepted workshop sessions will be published very soon.
1. ESETI’21 Session
The International workshop on Educational Systems Engineering: Trends and Issues (ESETI’21) will be held in conjunction with the second edition of the International Conference on Smart Systems and Data science 2021: ICSSD’21 on October 28th – 30th 2021 in the School of Information Sciences (ESI). The aim of the workshop is to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and results on all aspects of Educational Systems Engineering as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted during the Covid-19 experience. The focus will be on the specialized topic of Educational Systems Engineering, to discuss recent research, new leads and future directions in achieving better education. Therefore, authors of unpublished, original, in-progress or completed research works related to one of the following topics, are invited and encouraged to submit their papers You can find more details about Submission guidelines, indexing and deadlines on the ESETI’21 call of papers.
