Main tasks

1. Conducting studies and research at the local, regional, and international levels
2. Study intellectual, social, economic, political, and military aspects.
3. Employing and utilizing researchers and academics, who are a significant human resource but are currently unproductive and underutilized, representing a wasted asset. Their abilities and skills can be developed and utilized, and job opportunities can be created instead of the current regulated unemployment. Even university professors and lecturers must be involved and attracted to participate in community activities, rather than just giving lectures and lessons at universities.
4. Collecting information, studies, reports, surveys, and statistics.
5. Conducting organized and periodic opinion surveys on major and central issues on which an opinion is to be formed, in order to ascertain people's attitudes and preferences, what they want and what they reject.
6. Uphold all international human rights covenants and conventions issued by the United Nations.
7. Research and identify issues, problems, and developments that concern the general public, prepare studies on these matters, and communicate them to decision-makers so that they can be utilized and benefited from as much as possible.
8. Preparing forward-looking studies based on factual data and circumstances that attempt to predict and prepare for the future.
9. Monitoring, recording, and documenting events.
10. Promoting democratic principles and protecting public freedoms and minorities.
11. Provide consultations consistent with the Center's objectives.
12. Organizing conferences, workshops, and public and private seminars on topics of local, regional, and international importance, with the participation of decision-makers, interested parties, and specialists, with the purpose of public mobilization.
13. Bilateral scientific cooperation with counterpart institutions, other study centers, and Arab and foreign universities and institutes with similar purposes and interests.
14. Publishing studies and research in line with the Center's vision.
15. Overseeing the provision of internships for university students, graduate students, and graduates to empower students intellectually and personally.
16. Ensuring communication with donors, finding sources of funding, and securing the necessary financing to implement the Center's programs and projects.
17. Promoting the reputation of the center and building its institutional and media identity.
18. Publish a regular journal or newsletter in both print and digital formats.
19. Establish a diverse and comprehensive library.
20. Contact and communicate with Arab, regional, and international research centers, and propose cooperation and communication with them, especially independent centers, as well as contact and communicate with researchers and academics.
21. Providing the Center's services to the Iraqi and Arab communities in accordance with available resources.
